I took these yesterday, while I was working. I was at a small town, north of Charleston (SC).

Lovely photos, and especially #1 for the richness of colour that continues from the sky into the reflection.

Nice pictures. I like the reflections in the water and the scenery adds a calming effect.

I love the reflections, but I can't help feeling that I want to see more detail in the river banks. The colours are breathtaking though and very well captured.

I really like the first one. Colours are fantastic and the reflection looks great. Second one is less vibrant but that might just be because it's right next to the first :)

#1 for me. The reflection in the water is great.

I too would have liked to seen more detail in the grass on the banks.

I took a similar shot where much of the photo turns out dark (the river banks). It was suggested to me to bracket the exposure. Take one shot for the sky (where the river banks are underexposed), then take another shot for the river banks (where the sky is overexposed). Then mask the two pictures together in photoshop.

Does the horizon need to be straightened in the first? Regardless, it takes the prize for me. Beautiful colors and great reflections.
Having said that, the second is well done too with very clean lines.
Good job.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

There are trees along a winding creek, so there isn't a normal horizion so to speak..

Thank you for the comments!
