I opened up my Rangefinder magazine that's been sitting in my briefcase waiting for me for the last few weeks and opened up an ad for Canon's printers.. and what do I see... Not one woman.. the ad reads printers for Canon Professionals but.. out of nine photographers not a one of them is female.. What gives?..
Now granted great photos by these photographers but I think maybe Canon was a little slow on this one.. Appealing to just one demographic.. and out of the nine photographers maybe one was under thirty... A bit on the annoyed side.. and then I got to thinking... just what is the male/female photographer ratio?.. Is the shot like that because there really isn't that many women photographers? Just a thought.
