St. Joseph oratory, still in Montreal. You can see two pilgrims in the bottom of the stairs (pink and red shirts) who are climbing on their knees, stopping at each step to recite a prayer. By the time we visited inside and made it to the balcony (near the columns), they were halfway up the stairs.

Here's a church I shot in Martinique. It's a vertical panorama because there was no way to get far enough away (with the lenses I had with me) to get it all in one shot.

There's lots of really wonderful churches in this thread (and great photography thereof). But what this shot's about is the fact that the real church is within us; anytime, anywhere...
