There are so many threads talking about the ulitmate lens collection. But to my knowledge one needs a good back to carry the ulitmate lens collection. So what is your Ultimate bag. although i don't have it i am thinking maybe the lowepro stealh reporter D650 AW or the D550 AW. It's big enough and top access so you don't have to open the bag to get the lens you want next.

i must admit i am a little suprised no one has responded yet. all the ulitmate lens threads get lots and lots of people to respond but. but i guess bags aren't as cool as lenses.

My ultimate bag would have enough room for my gear and defy gravity. Maybe like those hover boards in Back to the Future II.

The ultimate bag - Thinktank's Airport Security. Holds almost everything, has room for my 500 and fit's as carry-on. And it's got wheels for those mad dashes thru the airport.

Just my $0.02 worth

Think Jetsons. Large box of gear folds into a small easy to fit package in your pocket :)

No no no think Tardis (from Dr Who) you could carry it with you and then pop inside to do some post processing. I'm thinking Crumpler Million dollar home size normally.

On a more serious note I learnt a long time ago just one bag doesn't cut it. Finally my wife is coming to understand this also.

I'm seriously interested to hear what people recommend.
I'm carrying round my 20D & 24-70f/2.8 & 120-300 f/2.8 plus laptop/monopod/accesories etc. in various bags, and really need a good all in one solution.

I have 5 bags each of which serves a different purpose. Four of these are Kata because of their superior build and ease of carrying.

I use the Airport Addicted, similar to the Security but without wheels, and a better harness with a laptop case.

it will hold everything unless you have a 400 f2.8, a 500 f4 and a 600 f4 all at once!
