can anyone recommend a good place to get your film or slides processed. I know many people don't use film anymore but some profejects i just prefer film, both color and true (TMAX BW) bw. any help would be great. thank you.

Sorry I can't recommend a lab to send it off. However, back in the film days I had always found it beneficial to build a relationship with a local pro lab. The price may be a little more, but being able to trust in the expertise of others is important. I personally would never consider any 1-hour lab or high volume, consumer-oriented assembly line. /Dan

I'd suggest developing the B/W yourself. Go to a E6 pro-lab for the slides.
