Just wondering if any of you have or ever would purchase someone elses photographs. I am very picky with the money i spend(since i don't make much). and happend to find 2 prints from some that i am thinking about purhasing, $60 each for a 22x29 and a 29x21( i know the size is weird at least to me anyway, but the pictures are awsome) and matted and framed for $125 each. sounds kinda crazy but hey i am the one living the the decision. any way has anyone every purchased someone elses work before?

if you enjoy art for your house, and found something you life i definitly dont think theres anything wrong with that. thats like being a painter and saying you would never get a painting you didnt paint for your house. just because you are an artist doesnt mean you cant enjoy other's work.

There's nothing wrong with that at all. I'm just too cheap to buy anything like that and usually print and frame my own stuff for the walls.

A while ago, Cat asked to buy a couple of my tiger shots for her son. I was so flabbergasted and honoured that anyone would want anything of mine on their wall that I was pleased enough to give them away with no charge...

No-one's approcahed me since though....
