Took this on a trip up the California Coast last month of the historic Bixby Bridge. Let me know what you think :)

lovely coastline, but did you use a wide angle, the bridge looks to be at an odd angle

this was taken at 24mm, the best angle I could get was a side angle. The only way to get a better angle would be by boat or helicopter.

I love taking shots of it, just the fact that its so high above the ocean and canyon below make it a special place.

Lovely are and a great location for photography it seems.
The picture though looks as its been split in 2 parts.
The left part is exposed nicely with very good contrast and colours and the right part seems all like washed out.
I take it its because of the angle of the sun? if it is,a mild nd grad filter would help alot to balance the image i think.

Great bridge. Been in more car commercials than cars themselves. When you were standing in the turnout the picture was taken from, did you look over the cliff and to the right to see that great rock formation that creates a hollow tunnel the breakers come thru? Great coastline. /Dan

Thank you for the comments, are you referring to the Cokin Style filters, not the screw in type right
