Canon Powershot A540 or A630?

Do you guys have any comments about these two cameras and if you were me, which one would you go for?

I dont think one would be any better than the other fot this type of shot. I think they are both good cameras and each appeal for different reasons. The A540 is smaller and takes 2 batteries, the A630 is larget has a swivle screen and a faster flash recycle time sence it takes 4 batteries. Witchever camera you pick I think your best bet would be to prefocus in manual focus mode. Then set youe exposure mode to manual, set your aperture for the proper depth of field, your shutter to something fast enough to stop motion, probably around 1/200 and then add a slave flash. Meter all this and set your ISO to whatever is required for proper exposure.


60D, Canon 18-135 IS, Sigma 10-20 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm, 70-200 2.8 hsm, 430EX II, and all the other stuff that goes along with it.
