Just got this model last week.. it's by far the most detailed one I've got - in fact it's not a model, it's a scaled-down REPLICA of a 1992 GT.. right down to the floor mats, working seatbelts and authentic engine bay stickers.
This is my favorite shot from the series:
1.
Lighting the model was tough.. I had trouble getting nice, soft light like above.. then again, I was just working with a halogen desk lamp (had trouble with White Balance), a handheld reflector and some white foamcore.
2.
3.
Ironically, between the XT and the A95, the A95 is better-suited to this kind of work.. it's alot easier to compose and focus shots with a small digital camera, especially with the articulated viewfinder. Mind you, I don't have a 60mm or 100mm macro, so perhaps I need a better frame of reference.
C&C appreciated.
