That's a real pretty shot - even with the tree!

I like the color and texture that the pampas grass tops add to the picture.

If you're feeling adventurous, I've got something for you to borrow...

IMAGE: http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B0002TNEX4.02.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Seriously, though...the windblown grasses and golden tassles (or whatever they are called) make a really nice foreground. I'd probably level it off so the arrow at the top is pointing straight up, and that would also fix the leaning feeling the structure has. Regardless of that small nitpick, it's a really pleasing image.

Your shots are impeccably composed Andy. The background on your site is extremely distracting and your use of a large white border is exaserbating the uncomfortable experience of looking at it.

I'd change the bg to something darker and opaque, something nice to look at but not obtrusive. The large white border around your pictures I found distracting, but the drop shadow is always a nice touch. Your use of curly font for your name is also very artistic.

Cheers.

Nice shot. What was the shutter speed on this one. I assume it was something pretty fast, since it looks like the wind is fairly blowing a gale!
