I would clone out the stray branches at the extreme left in #1.

#2 is my favourite compositionally but suffers a bit from fish-eye type lens distortion at the sides.

I think #3 would work best if cropped to a square - losing all the vegetation and wall to the right.

Technically they are all perfect (as usual).

I'm not going to comment on the colour but a little devil in me wants to pipe up "I think a cellophane toffee wrapper must have flown up onto your lens!".

Hi Les... Nice night shots...:D... The reflections on the water look soo smooth :). Just a few questions...
1. Why didn't u clone out the plants in the 1st and the 3rd shot...??? and
2. Why have u decided to capture more of sky in the 2nd and 3rd shots?

And u haven't yet told me what r the property rates out there? ;)

1. Yes, good point (and thanks Mike also),I'll work on that later.

2. One of the reasons I popped out this evening was that it was windy, and a few clouds around, therefore I was hoping for a long exposure/wispy cloud effect. I don't normally use filters for this kind of shooting (there is so exposure latitude in long exposure shots), but I think a grad would have helped to balance the image out a bit.

Hmm,i think # 1 gets my attention, its seems like a much more powerfull image , probably from the angle it was taken.
Also it seems more contrasty and the water flow is certainly obvious and atractive.

I also like that colour, nice and warm glow to it.

#1 for me.
The lines, reflection and flow of water are most interesting.

I like number one compositionally but not sure about the colour, or lack of it, though? I agree about cloning but prefer your usual bluer tones and skies (but was obviously a bit late on for that).

I like your twilight shot the best, but of the first three, #1 has the strongest lead-in and #2 has the best sky effects.
