Don't count on it! Supply & Demand wins out on that lens. :(

Cubicle is a safety zone, it's not the end of the world. Start going to Wendy's for lunch instead of Red Lobster and save your money for the lens. :)

Hmm f4 IS giving the equivalent of an f1.8. lens. Tasty but... I can't afford it. If I were to buy a lens then it would be the Tamron 11-18.

suzy.. i dont' go out for lunch or dinner. i just cook at home. wify and i've been married for 2 yrs.. haven't even gone on our honeymoon yet. but wify is very supportive of me finding photography and even wedding photog a good thing, so that's very lucky of me. haven't bought her presents for anniversary or birthday.. forget christmas. so yeah.. i've been saving every penny.

i often wonder what i'm going to buy if i buy these lens now.. what to buy when canon's triple rebate comes out next year? nikon is having their triple rebates now... why canon didn't do that? :( ouch.. chopstick in eye sure doesn't feel good. haha

time to finish eating my mentos for lunch.

Lunch? What is this strange thing of which you speak?

I spend my time working so hard I only have time for a dry crust and a gulp of water in the morning and perhaps a bowl of rice in the evening before I fall asleep :p

New lens or Stay married. She is somewhat supportive of the hobby but not too much. I guess I'll stay married, old habits are hard to break after 25yrs, Not only that, but I hate to think that I would be paying for that lens the rest of my life. Aimony, child support etc.. Oh well

I've finally saved up enough for my 70-200 2.8... but i'm wondering if i should start looking more at this lens... i usually shoot sports (outdoor car racing) and every once in a while i do some indoor sports shots.... this is driving me crazy!!
