SENSOR CLEANING

I'm both a newbie to this forum and a newbie to DSLRs. i have a Canon 30D and have decided it is a wise idea to acquire sensor cleaning stuff and learn how to use it. I am open to anybody's suggestions on what to buy, how to best use it, and what to look out for when attempting to clean my sensor. Thanks in advance.

One good cleaning tool for cleaning off the sensor is the Giottos rocket blower. You can get them anywhere like B&H and Adorama. I just got the 30D too, and i need to get one of these myself!

I have a 30D and started using the Copperhill method this summer. Safe and effective! Use a blower first to get anything that might be abrasive. Then go "wet".

Take a picture of the sky at f22 or higher, use auto levels in photoshop to see how much sensor dirt you really have.
When I started it looked like someone had thrown a handful of gravel on my sensor. Now I average about 2 - 4 specks on the periphery.

I use Copper Hill and it works fine. Just follow the instructions provided in the kit. Just don't turn into a wuss at the decisive moment and you'll be fine. Why the huge font?
