I need to buy a camera for my work TOMORROW so that it fits on this year's budget.

I know nothing about which camera to get, all I know is by budget is $300 and I want something that has a good zoom. Can someone suggest the camera for me?

here's my preferences
-i would rather have a goood zoom than wide angle
-need to be able to easily capture video clips
-no need for any other special features like red-eye removal, as this camera will only be used to photograph damaged roads and houses.

:D

S3 IS. You have a button just for the videos and a 12x zoom...

S2-IS will fit under your $300 budget and leave you enough to buy atleast a 1GB SD Card :D (Newegg.com for the card).
