Just to be controversial, E-A, I like what you've done with what you were given. In travel photography, I find quite often that I want to record some significant place, but the conditions just aren't what I would like. Of course, creativity sometimes lets us find a perspective that works really well, but sometimes you just do the best you can. Not every good photo will take one's breath or win awards, still they are good photos. This is one of those.

Looks to be a decent location and another visit from you E-A. With that color and texture in the brick and a few tweaks I'm sure you can make this a real winner. Nice looking shot just the same.

Looks like something from Pirates of the Caribean Elisabeth-Ann. The location obviously has potential but I would move back a bit and include all of the rocks in the foreground rather than cutting them in half and give the building some space. :)
