My Power Shot S230 Died.

All I get is black picutes. The LCD works since I can review older pics, but all I see in black in photo mode.

Any Thoughts?

I'll be getting a Rebel Xt or Xti soon.

Steve

May be the sensor gone bad. Probably not worth fixing it; if you want a P&S while waiting for the Rebel, you need to replace it with something else.

Wow, thank you, that is exactly what is happening. I will contact them tonight. Hopefully I can get it repaired. I still want a PNS along with the rebel.

Thanks,
Steve

Canon just called, they said parts are on back order, so they will send me an SD550 to replace the S230. I said sure, why not.

Great service.

Steve
