***56k Beware** Sorry i forgot and i cant edit the title.

After seeing ' Airplane Steve's ' photos of the transparent hood it reminded me of one of my assingments from last spring and i thought i would share it with you guys. The assingment was to choose any add that had been digitally enhanced and recreate it to the best of your ability. Here is the Add i chose:

And here is my attempt at recreating it.

The the view of the Paxton unit through the transparent hood attracts one's eye to it, making the viewer aware of what is mainstay in generating all that tire smoking horsepower. I think you did well. :D

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Excelent job on the assignment looks professional. The only thing I would say is that the smoke is a bit brilliant, IMO it should be a bit more towards gray. Other than that keep up the superb work!

SHUT UP !!!

Seriously though, i was very mad at myself abouot that detail. I cant believe i overlooked it myself, but i did get some points taken off because of it.

And everyone has to try it some time, it really was the most fun i have had in PS.

Doesn't work for me sorry, the first photo shows a whopping great turbo in a toyota aristo (presumabley the big turbo is the HKS kit), and the second shows some random pipework in a non turbo mustang, with phrasing about 'boost' ??

Well considering my complete lack of choices whn it comes to boosted cars while in Searcy, i was a bit limited on the car i was able to photograph. And if you want to get technical about, in the HKS add they also diassembled the whole front end to be able to see the frame work and more of the turbo. Sorry i wasnt willing to take apart my friends "at the time to him" brand new car, just for a class assingment.

They are more ways to go about boost then just turbos. They are something called a supercharger...and have been around longer then turbos i believe. This 'non-turbo' mustang in fact has a Paxton in it.

The assingment was for me to recreate the add, not make mine identical to it in every manor and i doubt HKS would let me borrow their car for a 'class assingment.'
