That's one keenly (geometrically) focused shot , Snir !

This is Port Credit (marina) in the City of Mississauga, west of Toronto. That's where I do practically all of my bird in-flight shooting....whatever flies... from seagulls and ducks, to swallows in summer.

The lighthouse shot is lovely and of course the bird is great as usual. Your part of the world is very nice. I don't really have any appropriate shots for this contest but I'm enjoying everyone's photos.

I've done plenty of jumping off of bridges in my time, but this particular "puddle" is very shallow.... Not a conducive jumping situation...

okay. a couple more. this is Merrits a little corner of Boise devoted only to the true locals this is no stopping place for tourists or people traveling through in order to find it you have to know it's there in order to know it's there you have to have grown up here.. Every good grade, promotion, lost job, lost relationship anything that your friends could be there for it was celebrated or discussed here. From my friend Shannan crying over an unplained pregnancy, to my buddy Kavin cursing over getting fired to my moving to San Diego because it sounded like a good idea.. they are all dealt with over indian fry bread and coffee..

That coffee cup is awesome. It works for me. Steam and all. Great shot, Sari, really.

Sunset Beach, past Charleston, Oregon. A mere 30 minutes from home. I can be found here on any given weekend during the summer.

Well, Terri, there's a good chance we've run into one another and never knew it...I grew up around there!

That brings back a boatload of memories, Pix. I lived there for 17 years. That whole area is beautiful.
