I am in serious need of a BP-511 battery (10D/20D).. are there any department stores that carry them? I will be going through Denver, so if anyone knows a store there that will carry them it would really really help! thanks POTN

There are a couple of camera stores in Denver that I'm sure would carry the BP-511. Unfortunately, I don't know the names.

Try Sterlingtek - their BP-511A replacements last longer and are way, way cheaper than the OEM ones. Many people on here have them and I think there may even be a sticky in this forum.

Don't stock up. Buy only what you will use. Li batteries will only last 1 1/2 -2 years whether you use them or not. See: http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=248937

Best Buy, Circuit City or Ritz/Wolf also carry BP511 clones.

There are also a number of Batteries Plus (external link) stores in the Denver area; I have not tried their BP511 replacements, but have had good luck with watch and cell phone batteries from them.
