Oh and we had Kelsey-Lee and her sister Amy who decided climbing and wrestling were every bit as good as photography. Thanks Kelsey and Amy for providing the entertainment...(I think they might have hit the red cordial before they arrived :-D)...

yeah it's tempting to go back again...

not 100% sure why mine didn't get a very orange glow... they all look very undersaturated :( maybe I just need to learn to post process :( the colours etc in your pics look much much nicer

edit: speaking of playing (relatively poor pic of 'someone' giving them a helping hand ;) )

There's a reason for this somewhat boring shot of a great monument thingy being upside down... (/me looks over toward Tina)...

Hi gang,

Sorry I have been off the grid over the last week or so - I have been enjoying my holidays down south. Damn it has been cold!!

Look here https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=255633 for some pelican shots from The Entrance.

Look here https://photography-on-the.net …php?p=2454045#post2454045 for some shots from the south coast of NSW before the rain came in.

Sorry I missed the graveyard shoot - the images coming back look great.

Cheers

Shay,

Love that first image of the cross in your collection. Well thought out and well executed.

One small suggestion, if sending it into competitions or magazines or selling I suggest photoshop bluring the name a bit. Some people get a bit touchy about the name being legible etc (sort of like a model release I guess).

Hey Shay? how come when you and Paul save your pics, it saves the exif?

I use RawShooter Premium, and then export (after adjusting whitebalance, saturation, EC etc) via TIFF to Photoshop.

If I save for web, it comes out with no exif when I upload.

Hi again Feng,

"Save for Web" isn't that great. It strips the EXIF information to make the file smaller.

I created an Action in Photoshop to

1. Change the colour profile of the image from AdobeRGB to sRGB
2. Change the resolution to 72 ppi
3. Resize the image to 800 pixel wide (sometimes I still have to resize it as it still comes out too big).
4. Save the resultant image to a file known as "Images for POTN" and save it as a JPEG.

It only took me about five minutes to create and when I use this action, it converts an image in less than a second and preserves the EXIF.

If you need help to create the action, PM me.
