My UK insurance will expire in a few weeks and having moved to NZ it is going to be easier to insure my equipment here rather than explain why I'm out of the county all year to a UK broker :D

Any suggestions as to which company is worth approaching. All the standard "high street" brokers have given me blank looks when show them the equipment list and ask for professional all risks liability insurance.

Cheers Dave

We've already worked this out on PMs, but for the benefit of anyone else reading here's the info:

My pick: C G Rothbury, the guy's name is Rod. You need to be an NZIPP or AIPP member to get this, and I know for sure the NZIPP endorses them because I checked with Philippa from NZIPP.

Mahony Trendall & Jack Ltd. A bit more expensive, but available to anyone. Note that you can get a discount if you specify NZ only cover.
