How has Coppermine been working for you that use it? It seems fairly robust and configurable.

I'm just trying to decide whether to go with a canned solution such as Zenfolio, or go the way of Coppermine or Gallery2.

I currently use pBase, but I'm fairly unhappy with them for the lack of support, and constant spam on the comment system.

Thanks in advance for any input you can provide.

Coppermine has been great to me, once I took the time to configure everything how I liked and created a theme for it that matched my page design it has been working out nicely.

I will warn that this takes some time, especially theme creation/editing! Figure on installing it a few times if you are really picky about how it structures your MySQL tables and the likes. Keep notes!

Take a look at https://photography-on-the.net/gallery/
It runs on Exhibit Engine 2 which will do a lot and do it with style. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=93 has more info - full 2.02 installer is the next thing to do (should be done within a week).
