Yes I am really liking the dryzone rover...

but I'm not sure if I want to spend $200 on it because a friend is willing to sell me their used "slingshot" for a good price- and I could just put that entire bag into a drybag (sold seperatelly) and stash the drybag into the top compartment of the slingshot when I'm not needing the extra protection.

Anyway, I'll update ya'll with a review of whichever bag I go with.

youre right, it is a bit on the expensive side when it comes to equipment bags (especially considering what you can get for that price that is not waterproof), but for me, the versatility of the bag won me over. good luck with your decision, and let us see those pics when you get back. have fun!

I didn't check my shirt one day and put it on and got it right in the back. Ouchhhh! I know they'll get in every da* thing possible. They are like roaches. Nothing is sealed up good enough. Have fun on your trip.

Check out Aloksaks. They are what I use - just put then in side your camera bags and the gear in side of that. They work great.
