Well, everyone else is doing it, lol....

Couldn't wait to get a half decent car to play with the new rig, so after I found this underground car park open whenever I want (and locked behind me if needed) I asked a friend if I could borrow his Carrera for 20 mins!!!!!

The car needed drying as it was persisting (is this a weather forcasters way of saying P***ing down I wonder) but everything worked just as planned.

Please let me know what you think as this is all trial and error.

Regards

Kris

Very nice car, and I love #4.

So in regular fassion lets see a shot of the rig ?

And for my own personal reasons i would REALLY like to see a shot before you PS ou the rig itself. That would be awesome.

Thanks

motion is good on the rig shots but background sucks.

the first shot the wheel is turned the wrong way, you should never see the tyre tread, and the strip light is reflecting in the rear window.

3rd one could have been great had it not been for the pointless angle the camera is held at and the post in the was.

th exposure is not great but then black car in multistorey is never going to be nice :( my advice is to do two layers, one for your background (top) and one for the car (bottom) then rub out the car from the top one to reveal the brighter car below.

a tiip for the motion shots. take a picture of the car stopped then take the motion one and do the same above but leave the wheels in. that way you get the car sharp but the motion too.

aye, I understand there is much not right with the shots, but when you get a wet car turn up and have only 20 mins to get the shots, I'm chuffed. I'll have a Bently GT next week and far more time.

regarding your tip for motion shots, Ok you'll get a sharp car, but also non moving reflection and that way too much ps for me to fix, I would rather get a sharp moving car, but I appreciate your point.

The still shots are not set up properly, I took them while the owner was talking on his phone, more grab shots rather than planned.

Poah, my weather is just like yours, guess its the wrong season to start this lark, lol

Cheers for the comments folks.

The second one makes such a beautiful car look squished- not good for a Porsche. I like the rest though. Mind posting the rig setup, or should I search for something special to find it?

yip lol the car park looks well lit though so thats a bonus. if you are worried about reflections then don't dub em out or position the car so you don;t have any
