7 hour wedding I recently shot, I took around 500 shots, 300+ to use.

Anyway, 14Gb is plenty. :)

I suspect it was something going on with the storage device, I had a bunch of identical shots, not just similar ones. I made a bunch of mistakes too, the main one being to remember to synchronise the times on the cameras before each wedding!

YES on the contract, you should clearly stipulate that it is a freebie and you cannot be held responsible should something go wrong. Also mention how many freebie photos you'll give them, whether it'll be on disk or printed. How many enlargements, the lot.

It's still something you should agree on, if you want to charge them for photos over 300 you need to tell them that before hand, you should also agree on a price before the time.
