yowzer. I only have about 1/15th of the amount of memory that you have!
(a 2GB and a 1GB Ultra II SD).

Thanks. Before I had all the Ultras and PSD, over a weekend of shooting 3 models then a Senior with no time between to off load, I was running out of cards. Never again I told myself!

Too bad chip companies don't allow for consolidation or trade-in of cards... Would be REAL nice to trade in say 10gb of random sized CF for one big n fast 8gb card! :D (Assuming you have others still for back-up).

Although I've never had a memory card go bad, I feel safer using multiple 1 & 2Gb cards instead of one monster card. Downside - it takes an extra 10 seconds to swap them out, upside - if one does go bad, get damaged by EMPs or whatever, at least maybe I haven't lost everything. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Is it just me?

How reliable are your cards? I've used a dozen cards over the past 3 years and none have ever gone bad to this day (except one doa).

cards are more likely to go bad faster via inserting them and removing them then to go bad in action.
