I like the shot, it just seems like it could have a little more depth. The tonal range is a little flat. I'm not sure what you could do to fix that besides change the lighting (kinda hard to control nature).

I like it. But the title throws me off a bit. She looks like she is crying, or in wrenching emotional pain.

I like the shot, and I think the title works for it. But I agree about lightning, I understand that only the best photografer of all times(God) can mess with nature, but I guess that it would be much more interesting if there is sun and strong contrast, IMO.

Or playing hide and seek... I think her relative smallness compared to those giant steps made me think immediately of this child's game.

I like the image a lot, but do find the upper right hand corner a bit distracting. The lightness and curved line lead my eyes off...

I like it too. What I really like is your ability to simplify and image and still present a story. This lady looks to be in anguished prayer. And the mind fills in the rest. Very nice.

There is a continuum between reality and ambiguity. Your title pulls us toward the former, your image the latter. It is either the wrong title,or an overly intrusive one. Perhaps this is such a powerful concept, and a personal one, that it is best titled merely with a number... or not at all.

The particular power of this image is that the astonishing craft which supports it (composition, form, texture, light, tonal range, shape, etc...) falls away and we are left truly contemplating its meaning rather than the scenic designer's work. That's a major difference between craftsperson and artist.

Thanks for sharing
