HELP with "TAMRON Model 672D AF75-300MM F/4-5.6 Zoom Lens for Nikon"

I'm new here...and not quite sure where to put this...but this damn lens...the manual says to switch over to macro, to adjust the macro selector switch..easy right? well...there aint no switch, and i can't for the life of me figure out how to do this...googling all sorts of stuff leads me nowhere except places to buy the thing at (that dont tell anymore than i know anyway...)..ugh

You do know this a Canon Forum and that isnt a very popularLens.

But just the same, most Macro lens don't have switches. They someime do have a position on the zoom ring that allows them to act like a macro. There is also the limitation of magnification and closest distance from subject. Mag is 1:3.9 and min dist. is 59".
