Hi all;

Would be interested in any feed-back on this image.

It is The Souk Madinat Jumeira in Dubai. It's a modern replica of a market souk (and huge hotel) right next door to the famous Burj Al Arab. We thought it was very well done & quite entertaining.

Anyhow, rather than the regular tourist photos (which I took by the bucket load) I tried something a little different...

Hi Lee

I'm sorry, I'll be honest, this doesn't do anything for me. The sky is ok, but generally with silhouettes, you should try and keep some colour in the sky to contrast with the blackness of the foreground. As it stands now, it's very very dark, and I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking at.

But thanks for sharing, and this is only my opinion!

Looks like a great sky there. Consider cropping off the bottom 1/3 of the shot though. The reflection splits my attention away from the sky. The black buildings would form a decent foreground boundary if there were at the bottom of the frame.
