I will admit I took this photo and left ... it was pretty scarey seeing them so close up .. my son loved it though and kept asking if he could play with them

Denver Aquarium .. and its glass fronted .. and they only allow so many ppl in at once .. I still thought apart from it being cruel, not a really a zoo fan, I thought it was dangerous too .. but I am sure its totally safe ( I hope !!)

Maybe my experience as a kid prejudiced me. I DID go up to a huge sleeping bear in a zoo and petted it through the bars. I almost lost my arm when it woke up suddenly, but fortunately it only bit off my shirtsleeve. :rolleyes:

OMg .. thats horrible. and NO WAY would I have let my son near a tiger that close .. the glass protector was hard enough lol
