....as I was walking the streets of West End Toronto.
This is a result of the immigration policy we've had on this continent since 1492.:( ;)

I think there has been an error in the tit-le as you mention my name while the image clearly shows 'The Friendly Brit'. Perhaps you meant Peahen, BustyLad, Uncle Kev, or EarAddicted?

However, The Shamrock $1 clothing store may well be where Marie orders her extraordinary Gif festooned apparal :-)

I could not imagine the Klondyke fellow doing decorating , though he does look quite dapper in his waistcoat and topper as depicted on the van livery;)

Hmmm....I think most girls/women on the General Chat Forum would consider you fiendly (sic), jovial and playful (sic). I am thinking of Klara, Sanity Rose, Blonde, Becca, Antena, Woo Wee, CFCpackers, Shuttered kid and Turnerdadze of Gruzia.

Oh dear ... are they all girls/women? :o :o I assumed Blonde was, but one can get so confused in Internetland. I have been addressing them as if they were fellow lads ... like what we are (or I think we are - one never knows!) If so then I must adapt my behaviour so as to be less 'fiendly' (sic) and more gentle and soppy and talk Tupperware all day

Mmmm... Just had a look at 'thefriendlybrit.ca' web site (as advertised on the van)...

You don't get many painters and decorators wearing bowler hats in good old blighty ??? - Me thinks they are portraying a slightly stereotypical image of us 'brits' - We'd never do that with our snow hat wearing Canadyan or cowboy hat wearing Amerikan 'brothers and sisters... would we? ;) :) :)

I think the referrence was to a "tuke", as made famous by the archetypal Northern Ontario Canadians Bob and Doug McKenzie.

Toronto is only the center of its own universe.

Noted the total lack of snow in TO. Was the army there again to clean the streets? Or is that the Provincial Politicians again? Note that Ottawa has very little snow at this time too, Parliment is in session. :D

Keep the good weather going, I'll be in Niagara, Mississauga and Barrie next week!

Jazzy, I thought I should let you know, if you plan shooting anywhere in Oakville or Mississauga by the lake, I charge $25 US per diem for one shooting pass.
