Really nice images.

Ed, what is the lighting generally like for a big televised fight?

Ed, is that finally an "Eye in the Sky"? The auditorium looks very sparsely populated even with the TV camera present. What sort of event was it? Nice captures BTW.

Yeah, needed to test a few things, I'm going to try and run one at an upcoming MMA event, there was no lighting truss near the ring, so I ended up going to an audio area and clamped to a bar in the balcony. Not the angle I was looking for, but really wasnt using it for anything more than testing...

The two remote shots were earlier in the evening, it did get a bit more crowded later in the evening, but being Christmas time in NYC, there are plenty of other attractions going on right now. It's a monthly show and is usually a sellout, so I'm guessing it was the time of the season that affected it...

Darren,

This was a small fight that was being recorded for a future air date, but the lighting was comparable to a major fight...Generally you'll get 1/500th of a second at f2.8 iso 1000...last night I pushed to 1250 and 1/640th...The remotes were f4.0 at 1/500th iso 1000
