Interestingly, in response to the "good taste" theme, the N. American contingent have jumped on food, whereas the Europen folks have started to look elsewhere.

You speak as if that is a surprise :D

Olli wrote in post #2407201 (external link)
I second Condy, nothing surprising in that.

Thanks for the daily, gratuitous slam. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing you care.

Relatively simple taste in design and landscaping of typical "upper middle class" Toronto homes.

T-dzadzi of Turkey......why do you feel so threatened personally by that. Let us not forget, there are 3 countries included in that N.American reference: Can, USA, Mex, eh ?
So equating our continent with USA would be like saying that a USA horseshoe tossing contest is a world/international championship event.

After all, going by the magnitude of land and freshwater alone, the dominant force on the continent is.....yup, you've guessed it right, son.....Canata.;)

Very clean and tidy; perhaps only let down by the Poodle hedge trimming and those white bricks which are rather retro but not yet fashionable again ;)

Those USA guys get it in the neck from everyone and so they need to be luved and cuddled more than most (where's Ron and el Dente when you need 'em?)

Yup ... Candida is itchin' to be top Dog on that continent, but at the moment you guys are more like incontinent in world affairs  But we have hope and are rootin' and a tootin' for ya :D

Yup, we sure do ... and willing to share with our fellow world-citizens. So, TurnipsDaz, tuck in and enjoy and no hard feelings :-)

Our home is in Oshawa, where General Motors is the primary industry....so these shots are representative of good taste for people from the 'Shwa' :D

Hey, I'm not old enough to be pillarly yet....and we on the outskirts of the GTA need cars that are fast enough to garner the centripital acceleration necessary to avoid being sucked into that votext leading to Yonge & Bloor, where not much 'good taste' resides.

Well Zuckerpferd, I think you are falling victime to Condyke's gibberishe .....your Anglois is deteriorating daily. Besides, you'd do better at running away from the Centre of the Universe aka Toronto if you avail yourself to some centrifagal acceleration instead.
(Note to myself: when in the Oshawa General for another implant surgery, make sure Zuckerpferd is off duty.)

Perhaps it doesn't stay on the plate long enough in PermaPuddle Mansions?
