Having Just completed an assignment using my Canon D 60 loaded with a 512MB Kingston Flash Card, Without any prior problems being evident, it will not download. The camera initially indicates 150 images, but then flashes up "CARD CF" atempts to download using my TRUST card reader, lead to the request to format my card. When I try to review the pictures through the camera the screen reads "No Image" Any suggestions would be very welcome:(

If you did format, you can get a program called Stellar Phoenix FAT & NTFS and try and recover your pictures.

I have used the program before and it worked great, although the price is kind of high. It has paid for itself in the long run though.

Just had exactly the same problem with a 2gig Lexar. Lost everything from the match, so now I use nothing bigger than 512mb

I used program called Photorescue PC. I believe it is not as expensive as Stellar and had good results too. There is also very good open source (FREE) program called PhotoRec (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec) (external link).

**I hope the admin doesn`t mind the link, but it is not commercial software, it`s free ;o)

i've had good success with a program called pc inspector file recovery from convar.

it's been upgraded to version 4, and it's freeware.
