I just got my G5 today
... I was happy until I turned on the screen. Straight from the box there is a hot or dead pixel on the lcd screen
. I would like to get it fixed but don't want to pay another $50+ to just get one pixel fixed...
Any suggestions? Will canon reimburse you for shipping? Would they charge me?
I wouldn't care soo much if they didn't reimburse me for shipping but I would like to know what you guys think.
Thanks.
*edit* just to make this clear, this is on the lcd screen, it doesn't effect the end quaility of the picture that you download to your computer *edit*
As someone already pointed out, send it back before it's too late. So what if you have to wait 2 weeks, why pay for a defective camera and have to look at that bad pixel for ten years. If you send it back immediatly, they'll know it's not something you did.
