Rebel XTi RAW and Photoshop CS

I cannot view/edit XTi RAW files in Photoshop CS. Is my only option to convert to DNG to process my files in CS, or am I missing something?

Canon 60D
Canon 70-200 F4 L + Sigma 1.4 T-con
Canon 50mm 1.8

Hi

You are not mssing anything. The 400D/XTi RAWs are handled by the latest version of ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) I think it is v3.6 BUT it will only work with PSCS2.

Your only option for use with PSCS is to use the latest DNG Convertor (again I think this is v3.6) or make use of other third party convertors that declare they will handle XTi RAW files.

yeah, use the latest version of DNG Converter to convert to DNG and then open the DNG in Photoshop CS. or use a third party raw converter, export to TIFF, and then open those in CS.
