Can the 30D use a Sandisk Extreme III 4.0GB CF card? Or is it restricted to a type II.

I am just learning...and have much to learn.

Thanks

Will work just fine. Welcome to the forum.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

The sandisk extreme numbers have nothing to do with the CF card type, it's still a type II card, so it'll be fine.

They also have a IV series (which is new and even faster than the III)
