Stopped off at Morro Bay on the way up the California Coastline to Monterey. This scene was begging for the fisheye and luckily I had it with me. Let me know what you think :)

this is one with my wife, niece and grandmother, I could not prevent my shadow from getting in there with the fisheye, oh well, what are you going to do besides clone it all out which I did not want to do ;)

clarity is great, sharp and GREAT saturation....lovin' the blue

i see your fisheye is a 15mm....who makes it? I'm seriously considering picking one up...the new zoom fisheye is calling my name though. need to see/read more about it however

The first one looks great. I like the perspective the fish eye provides. The over saturated (polarized?) blue adds to the feel of the image.

Looks nice! With the shadow, you can say you're in that picture. :)

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Neat perspective but I'm not feeling the extreme saturation. I like the effect it has on the water but it's unbalanced and unnatural in the sky, much darker on the left than on the right.

The zoom fisheye is interesting, I will have to see it hands on before making any comments

Calicocat, after revisiting I've decided that the super-saturated sky/water has grown on me. Still dig the perspective too. ;) What fisheye were you using?

Whatever the brand of fisheye this is, I am impressed with the crisp sharpness and contrast. Very good optical qualities. /Dan

calico,
great pix!

Just curious though, why is there so much curve (evident in the horizon) in the 2nd pic? Were both pictures taken with the same lens?
