My 2nd day using the 500, still not been able to get out of the yard, but loving the glass :).
Have a close look at the Robin's morning meal (a hawk!) :D.

Very nice captures of a lovely bird. I am partial to the middle shot. Well done Sean.

I second the second shot! The robin is really nice...making a meal of an eagle? Aren't they vegetarians?

As I am looking at your photo, there is an American Robin outside my window. I guess spring is on its way!

Nice shot, I ordered that lens just the other day, I'll be getting it next week. What kind of Robin is that?

Definitely #2. Great detail and a nice pose. Quite a perch there too- not as exciting as my froggy beanbag, but then it has more dignity and subtlety! ;)
