2 photos in ISO 3200. The only pp was level exposure + 1 saturation, no sharpness or Contrast, no noise removal softwares.

The light was not so good enough to expose. I LOVE this camera and Lens

I'm so jealous....If I had to choose two cameras to own, I'd own the two you just got...though I can't afford to take out a rather large loan to own either of them. :) (plus, I'd have to buy several new lenses, as I don't have a full-frame ultra-wide or standard zoom, though I could get by on my primes and 80-200 for a short while).

Are you a professional or a hobbyist? If it's just a hobby you've spent way too much money and have far too much gear. Why all the babysteps from XT, 30D, 5D, 1D2N,1Ds2? :)

5D, Drebel, EOS-3, K1000
lenses from 12mm-500mm

Don't worry, these gears are still in the market and someday you can get them or better.
BE PATIENT;)

I am not a professional but i am a hobbyist and i will keep to be a hobbyist.
I spent alot of money because i don't have something in this life to spend money for or on (ignore my family as they have fixed support), so photography is all the way in my mind.
why all the babysteps? here is brief story >>>

I got my Nikon 8800 in late 2005. After about 1 month from that i had read about a photography course, so i took that course which was i remember in November 2005, in that course the teacher advised as to get canon (she got 350D and advised it too), so i went to buy that XT before the workshop.
I kept use that camera for few months and it was my main camera in Lebanon, but as i do alot of photography including birds and so i found that this camera is slow, and noise is more noticable with high iso more than 800 and that time i came to this forum, i saw many nice photos and mostly from better cameras than XT such as 20D, 5D, 1D and so.
then i decided to buy another new cameras and i was looking for only 1Dsmk2, but because it was so expensive even i have money for it i look at another models, i heard about 30D, i thought that i don't need it as it is just another 20D with little more features and i don't want another advanced 20D.
oneday i went to a local shop and i saw 5D, i asked him to try it, and i amazed of its performance, then i said how will that 1Dsmk2 be then?
and i keep using XT with hard way to get better but it is slow for most shots and night photography can't help much as i don't know about noise removal softwares and i want to have better IQ on high ISO.
My biggest mistake was when i went to another local store close to my area, and because i am a good customer there the seller told me that he got 30D available if i want to see and buy, in fact i was not looking for it but i said why not.
When i saw the body i feel it is look like another 5D little smaller, i said good, let's try it. the seller attached 300 f4L IS on it and then , click.
Oh my GOD, i didn't sleep that night, and within 2 weeks or so i went to buy 30D, and i feel that i live in heaven, but still it is not my dream camera.
Because of fast speed i love to get faster camera and 1Dmk2 was the choice only, and again my bad luck is to meet some photographers between day to day who owned 1Dmk2 and i got a chance to use it once and.....i order it directly.
and ofcourse all the fault is to this forum as i saw photos from many cameras, and people here keep to talk about FF and 5D, so my dream camera is 1Dsmk2 and people love 5D and it gets more popular, so my last station was to get those both FF so i can't be more confused now anymore.

Great that i didn't buy 1Dsmk2 from beginning;)

If he is not a pro, is he not allowed to buy the best he can afford? Would you tell someone who was about to buy a Ferrari that he shouldn't because he doesn't know how to use it at it's full potential?

I am not a pro, but I always want the best if I can afford it.

I apologise if I sound offensive, because this is not my intention.

nice. thats pretty good for ISO 3200 :) i heard rumours that 1dsII suck on high ISO compared to like 5d but looks like theyr quite wrong ;) but then again its not a 100% crop is it? i mean it always looks better when zoomed out.
