I've given up on calling this thing dust, it's stuck on like cement.. Any suggestions (besides sending it to Canon?). I've got the cooper hill cleaning kit, and I've literally cleaned the sensor six times already, sideway and up and down. It works great, except for this spot! Maybe there's something wrong with my sensor?

I have no idea what that is I dont think it is dust though because of the way the light seems to reflect it. can you visually see the spot or is it invisible

Repeat cleaning with Coperhill again after a day or two, it will come off.
If not, send it to Canon for cleaning.

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Thanks.. Nope, I can't really see it with my naked eye. How much does Canon charge for that service.. and what is decent turnaround time to expect?

Strange thing, it has a bloody glowing(?) part to it. Sure isn't a dead pixel (or pixel cluster whatsoever)

no charge if under warranty. Pro stores here typically charge £30 which is robbery in most cases.
