The trees are delibaratly out of focus. I think it adds a bit of a sinister atmosphere.
What do you think?

Not really,it just looks like a picture that has gone badly wrong because of AF hunting.
Don`t mean to be rude,thats just MO,others might see it different,it doesn`t mean i`m right.:)

I would rather it be in focus.. as is it looks kind of arty.. but mostly like it was a mistake..

No,by all means,that wasn`t my intension.
The idea wasn`t to put you off but to try a different approach at least.
I would recomend that something of interest (ie your main subject) being in focus with good clarity.
That one approach,you can try different ones aswell,just make sure that your image has something to tell the viewer.;)
