A shot taken this morning around 7.15am. Taken at Menlo Castle here in Galway. I know there's light pollution in this but I think it gives great effect to the shot.

Interesting shot; I like it. Light definitely gives a haunted look to the castle. However, one thing missing, the three old hags from the opening scene of MacBeth stirring their witches brew.

Nice colours like it, looks like a long exposure or a strong wind? Whats the exposure time?

I think my partner in crime using the tourch at the bottom must count towards it tho :) :) :)

Combination of both to be honest and it was 25 seconds at f3.5

The light pollution (and the long shutter speed) is what makes this an effective and spooky image.

The ghost is actually at the bottom of the picture who was using a torch, I disnt realise he was in the shot at the time.

I will work on the B&W conversion tomorrow and post up.

Tanks for the comment also :) :)

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Very neat shot, love the motion effect and the melting of the colors from the torch in the sky against the shilouette.

I love this! This silhouette against that colorful and interesting sky definitely add to the spook factor.
