buying dslr from Costco?

I'd buy from Costco in a heartbeat, however I haven't seen any current model Canon DSLR's in Canada yet (or any DSLR's for that matter).

check online, its on the website. as was pentax's IST model.

got mine there as well. $799 and its black. they have both colors available at that price. you cant beat their satisfaction guarantee. I've returned everything from a half eaten melon to a two year old T.V. set. if you are dissatisfied with the product they take it back almost without exception. that's why 9 times out of 10 if they don't have it I don't buy it. Downside is the limited selection. I love the choices at stores like B&H but you try returning a lens there that conks out a year or so after you bought it and see what happens.

great, drove all the way to costco. couldnt wait to make a purchase. then i realized they dont take discover card!

Hmmm.... Millions spent in advertizing and it did not make the impression.

They usually do have a cash machine in store though and will take a debit card as well.

It’s the return policy that makes me smile, lol! I guess you gotta figure no matter how good a store is they aren’t going to have a decent honeydew melon in the middle of winter right?

Ask the camera guy. They had the silver on display but had black as well in their secret room.

Also..slight tangent...Costco has excellent print capabilities, standard policies are very flexible and quality is top notch.
They use Noritsu equipment at about $135K each.

yesss i got it! im feel like a 3 year old in a candy store.

i was worried costco would only have silvers, but to my surprise, they only had blacks!
