I don't even try. I was trying to keep up with some of the "chat" threads, but they move way too fast for me. I would go away for a few hours and there would be 10 pages to read when I got back, so I gave up. But I do try to check into the photo sharing area at least once a day and give a quick peruse to the stuff in General Chat and Member Activities.
I occasionally check in on a couple of those threads, and if they're talking about something interesting, I'll chime in. They're pretty chatty, and rarely do they discuss anything of substance, so I don't try to go back and see what I've missed. It would be like walking into the corner bar and asking what they've talked about since you were last there.
Being a moderator, I have a checklist of things I look for when I log on. Once the housekeeping is done, I'll check my subscribed threads, and lastly browse for topics that interest me. This week, it's the 50mm f/1.2L---there are a couple threads dealing with it running right now, and I check on them regularly. Finally, when time allows, I'll dig into the Transportation Forum for any new train photos. I still haven't outgrown that passion.
