http://www.joby.com/gp​2.html (external link) I was just browsing around the web and saw this, What a crazy little tripod. Anyone ever tried one? looks like something I would buy and use once tho :(

Well, there overpriced for one
And i doubt they could hold a DSLR with anything other than the kit lens

Yeah, they're cool for different angles with point and shoots, but I wouldn't trust them with my slrs.

There is some usefull information about the SLR zoom but there is a lot of bashing like anything new. One person does have it and posted some pictures using it.

They do look funny, but I read a review in one of my photography magazines (don't remember which one) that really praised these things. I guess they are coming out with a Pro version that will hold more weight. I can't think of a situation where I would use one.

hey brad thanks for the link never knew it was already discussed here should of really searched it!.

I think they could be handy if you just want to snap with out having a massive tripod but then i think i will just end up chucking it somewhere and never seeing it again just like my lensbabie. :(

I don't think I could trust it with my dSLR. Maybe my P&S though; but why bother with all that setup if you're using a P&S?
