I had a great time at this wedding, this couple was amazingly photogenic and a lot of fun. I have so many great images but I can only post 8. All done with 20D, 17-55, 70-200, mostly wide open. Minimal PP, most in bridge. C&C very welcome.

Bravo, Tim! Beautiful BW work. Full tonal range brings such a classic look. Good looking couple captured well with your meticulous style and eye. Don't quite get what's going on in the last 2, but I like the latter better.
Cheers,
Mickey

The last two are in an old telephone box that's built into a wall.

Great work, Tim. In shot 6, there looks like a shadow on the left side of her face. Maybe it's just my monitor, but it distracted me.

#6 had fill flash, probably in Av mode with FEC -1 or so. I don't use diffusers. #1 was ambient light. I have a lot similar to #1 that will make a great series in the album :)

Thanks for the response. 1 is by far my favourite, the more I look at it, the more I like it! Another annoying question: Fill flash being just a speedlite on the hotshoe pointed towards the couple?

Yes, with flash exposure compensation set to -1 or so, depending on the subject.

Tim, I'm helping a friend out by shooting before (preparations) and after the ceremony (at the 2 receptions). She could only get the photographer for the group shots after the ceremony. I told her I wanted to follow the bride from the time she gets started with her day. I am not going to the wedding, family only. Then I am shooting at the luncheon and then the evening reception. I've never done the before ones before, should I stay in the shadows and use fill flash indoors with my 430 or 580 on my 5D and call that good for lighting. I want to be as invisible as possible.
