Annual Christmas Shot, C & C Welcome

I finally got around to taking my annual Christmas photo of my children. Everyone's eyes are open and all are smiling - after only ten shots!

I welcome all suggestions for improvement.

It is a little underexposed, but you should be able to correct that in DPP if you were shooting RAW, or photoshop by using levels and masking. here is an example.

Also your colors are a little flat, do you have the camera set for adobe RGB or sRGB. sRGB gives better color sat switching to that will help the colors alot.

The camera is set for sRGB. Any other reason that the colors might be flat?

Could be that it was underexposed Try using a bounce hood on your flash, this will spread the light out in a wider pattern. If you are shooting in RAW you should bump the color sat one or two notches also.
