Last Friday (December 8th), we had a big department party at a local community center. We had about 300 people in attendance. Dessert featured Oreo, white chocolate raspberry, and plain cheesecakes (30 in all!) from The Cheesecake Factory. Here are a few shots I took. Batteries in my 580EX were dying, so it took an eternity to cycle, and I missed a lot of good shots as a result. Oh well, at least the cakes look tasty. :) Anyway, hope you like these!

-Mike

1. Oreo cheesecake.

2. White chocolate raspberry, their most popular variety (and for good reason!).

3. Just for fun... practicing with black and white.

I will take one of each!

I don't care for the b/w either. Those don't even interest me while the colored ones make me want to lick my screen!

^^^ Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Yeah, I agree with what everyone's said about the b&w image. It doesn't translate (or match) well with the dessert topic... it looks like charcoal cheesecake. ;) I was trying to get a good range of grays, but because of the flash orientation, it was hard to do so without blowing out the whipped cream topping in the foreground. Glad you guys like the white chocolate raspberry one, though... I can only eat like 4 bites of it before I go into a food coma. :D

I read the thread title and several things immediately jumped to mind. I've seen calendars that could also be titled Cheescakes from The Cheesecake Factory.

I like the shots, good DOF control and great colors. Ya gotta love cheesecake!

Simply love the cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory, absolutely mouthwatering cheesecakes.

I like the shots, but IMHO i feel that the DOF shd be increased.

Hmm, i don't know, i think the DOF gives the impression of and endless table of cheesecake, but maybe that is just me.
