Which lens..Tamron 28-75, or Canon 28 f/2.8?

I know, I know...apples and oranges:) I keep reading all these wonderful things about the Tamron, so kinda stuck. I love my 85 for outdoor sessions, but I need a wider lens for indorrs sometimes. Defintly need something a tad wider then my 50 for occasional full length shots indoors.

If you had to choose between the 2 lenses, which would you choose? Tamron 28-75 , or 28 f/2.8? Or.....save for the 28 f/1.8?

Tamron..Get the versitlity of the zoom plus its VERY sharp.

the combo of the 85, 50 and 28/1.8 is very nice... the Tamron's a great lens, but I think you might be happier with the three primes.

how can you compare a zoom with a prime lens, surely it all depends on what you want to use it for?

for your price range, and with the lenses you already have, a tamron 17-35 f2.8/4 might make more sense. Optics are about as good as the 28-75, and gives you more flexibility with your current lineup.
